Tomato Lake Reserve

Large nature reserve teeming with birdlife and the odd turtle - don't miss it in late Spring when the babies have hatched! Great for picnics however must be constantly vigilant with toddlers as they may be drawn towards the lake full of water birds! Loses points due to a lack of decent, sheltered play equipment, only 2-3 small play areas. Cafe on site and BBQs available. Plenty of parking and can be accessed from both President Street and Oats Street.
