Great park with lots to do for young ones as well as older ones.
Large sheltered playground with soft mat floor and fence surround (good for little ones). Lots of grassed areas and a separate sandpit/climbing frame. Suitable for all ages including teens as there is a skate park and oval adjacent to the playground. Clean BBQs, picnic tables and toilet facilites available and in summer an ice-cream van makes regular stops. Very popular park with winding creeks nearby which makes for a lovely afternoon stroll around the Mills Park Sporting Complex (3 ovals surrounded by waterways, nature reserves and connected by bridges).
I agree, this is a lovely park, it is a pleasure to take my kids to and it is an credit to the council. I do believe there is a local resident close by that plays a large part in the upkeep of the numerous free bbqs.
Extensive nature playground with skate park, fields, sporting facilities and cafe. Shade shelters, BBQs, cycle paths and walk ways, great area for all ages.
