This playground gets a three-star rating partly for its location - right next to the oval and additional play space of a local primary school. The school's outdoor activity space feeds into this local park with playground, which feeds into a string of reserves and little lakes and bike paths that stretches across the subdivision. Because of the proximity to the school there is good parking along the nearby street and at the school's dropoff zone, outside of school pickup/dropoff times of course.
The playground itself: straightforward, good condition neighbourhood playground with swings, slide, climbing fort etc. Largely on sand, no particular shade. Nearby, the school's obstacle course gives a challenge for the 5-12s, with a series of more complicated equipment set largely on rubber matting. The school's play area and oval are unfenced and open to all. Plenty of room to kick a ball around or to try taking the AFL-type goalposts seriously.
No toilets, tables or BBQs. Lots of birds.
