This playground is like a huge 'pirate' ship with slides and swings and cubby and hidey holes. Lot of big shade trees to sit under if the benches are taken. The photo shows the front end, it goes back quite a way. There is a cafe too. I wasn't sure whether to tick the suitable for toddlers box - there were plenty of toddlers there but it is a big playground and not fenced in so perhaps it is a place for chasing toddlers!!!
Lots of activities for children of all ages. We love this playground. But a word of warning: the pirate ship is large and can obstruct your view of where your child is and what they are doing. It is very easy to lose your child here. For littlies this can be a problem. Also, there are some very high drops and ledges. But once your child has a sense of height and some sense of spatial relations, this is a great place to spend a few hours. Wonderful slide, good swings, nice cafe for parent.
One of our favourites, but better for older children as it is hard to keep watch on smaller ones. The wooden ship is a nice change from other more common playground equipment. Some of the best views on Perth too - a great place for a picnic or BBQ.
This is an amazing park!! I've personally played here sooooo many times!! Thanks to my Grandad, Uncle, and the other workers, we now have this amazing park that looks over our beautiful city and swan river!!
Huge playground for all different ages and access levels. Great view of river. Cafe and toilets nearby. Sufficient parking. Could do with more shade.
