Very nice equipment under shade sails. Not a large structure, but enough.

Best for 3-10 year olds, there's not much a toddler can do and it's not well designed for them. There is a toddler-sized slide but they've put a ladder to it so that a toddler can't get up to it unless you lift them that first two feet. Once you do lift them up to the top of the toddler slide, they can get all over the fort including right up to the top of the big kids slide and the jumping/sliding pole (higher than a parent's easy reach).

The playground is on sand, surrounded by well-kept lawn, alongside a suburban lake. The lake has long, wide brick/limestone/concrete steps on the edge facing the playground, allowing cautious entry to varying depths of water. The rest of the lake edge is either fenced off, or blocked off by shrubs. There is a bike path that runs past the playground and around three sides of the lake. This area is popular with dog walkers so there are often dogs going by or hanging out at the playground with their families.
