This is a great playground with lots of big shady trees and brand new equipment with lots of slides, climbing walls and swings. There are free bbqs and heaps of lawn for ball games too! If you walk down the hill to Pt Walter there is a kiosk for coffees and icecreams etc
This is a very good playground - best suited for older children though. There is a 2.5m vertical drop from one edge because of the climbing wall and the gaps between the slats on the swinging bridge are a little wide, little legs fall through.
But the park and location is really nice - especially midweek
Great playground, beautiful location. My children aged 7 and 10 much prefer this to the smaller one down the hill. However the smaller one has the great advantage of a cafe right next to it - you can watch the kids from the cafe if they are old enough.
