The Kwoorabup Community Adventure Park was opened in December 2012. It is designed for natural exploration and active adventure. It consists of a large area of swales, mounds, gullies, logs and bridges, rock patterns, poles, piles of branches for cubby-making, dirt paths, extremely-climbable trees, sand piles. The (formally) made objects include a large musical frame that can be "played" or bashed by several children at once, and lots of those pipe-things that you can talk to each other through. There is also a large lawn area suitable for balls or wide games.

Suggested age range is 0-14. Younger children can spend time exploring small sections, older children may well cover the entire area repeatedly while playing "wide games", hide-and-seek, chasey or tag or any such game that takes the fancy. While the setup seems simple, groups of children of my acquaintance have easily lost hours here.

There is easy car parking next to the playground, near the toilets. The next nearest toilets are at the other (town) end of the street, five minutes walk away. A bike path goes around the playground and down across the river.
