Jerramungup Playground

This playground has everything! Three major areas for different age groups. My toddlers were easily able to play all over the first structure (shaped subtly like a ship), using ramps and stairs and simple ladders, and there are other structures with more challenges for kids up to fourteen or fifteen years old. Very new, large, modern playground built with money from someone's estate combined with Lotterywest funding. Ground surfaces are mostly the pressed-rubbery stuff, and all under shade sails. Barbeque facilities and picnic tables nearby. We could have spent hours here. There are public toilets nearby, behind the emergency services hall. No fencing but the playground is well set back from the street and there is little traffic. Well worth a detour off the highway if you are driving through Jerramungup and have kids in the car. Cafe is a very short walk away but not visible from the playground.
