Whitehorse Road
There is limited parking on Whitehorse Road, otherwise there is a carpark on the South side of Whitehorse Road in Campbell Road. There are traffic lights between the carpark and playground.

This is an attractively designed park, with curved walkways around garden beds that have been planted with native grasses, shrubs and gum trees. The playground is positioned next to the Anniversary Trail bike path, and I always love a park where I can watch the cyclists whizz by.

A recent upgrade has seen the removal of the lovely treehouse - a shame, but it must have been deteriorating.

The new playground is very striking and will appeal to most ages. The pathways allow passage of prams or wheelchairs to the front part of the play equipment. There are many climbing challenges for athletic kids a bit further in.

Further up the park is an amphitheatre surrounded by rocks and bushes. My kids spent as much time rock-hopping here as they did on the play equipment.

There are plenty of chairs spaced around the playground with more chairs and tables under a roofed pergola along with a barbecue.

The only negatives are the lack of parking and the lack of toilets. Also, I don't think they should have planted a pinoak in the middle of the playground when all the other trees are eucalypts; it looks quite out of place. But that could just be me being picky...
