A magical garden where children can play and explore, paddle, hide, dig, climb and generally have a wonderful time. Lots of special features including a wetland, rainforest, bamboo forest, rocky gorge, ruin garden with an ancient redgum, plant tunnels and a winding "river" meandering around grassy mounds. There is also a kitchen garden planted with seasonal crops. The garden covers half a hectare at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Great fun for everyone.

This park is just magical.

Be sure to bring a change of clothes and be aware that it is not open everyday.

Very busy, but good vibe all round.
My toddler enjoyed eating gumnuts and crawling around in the dirt. Older children might not be so entertained.
Water features great on a hot day, but less appealing in cooler weather!
