Beautiful botanical gardens, fenced all round, loads of trees, paths for kids to bike around, a toilet block in the middle if the gardens and a great playground for kids. Best ages, 3 and above. 4 swings, 1 for babies, 3 different sized slides, climbing objects, a little house structure on stilts in the middle. Good views of the kids from park benches. Love this park!!!

The park is beautiful with lovely, huge old trees. It is all really well maintained. Lots of space.
A small lake with ducks is fun.
A large chess board that you'll occasionally see people playing on with oversized chess pieces.
Ecocentre at one corner is sometimes open with different workshops etc. Communal garden I think.
The playground is good because it's quite different, mainly due to it being older than most playground equipment. It's mostly steel which gets really hot on a hot day. Too hot to play on. That's about the only down side. And some steps to the rotunda part of playground are really steep - need to watch out if toddlers are going down the stairs.
