This Playground has recently been refurbished and is great. There are lots of trees so the main area of the playground is alway shaded. And the area is completly fenced to ensure the littlies can't run out onto the road.

There's a good variety of equipment catering from young toddlers up to young adults. There's a very cool designer round about which the older children love. For the young ones the main attraction is the sand pit and the tunnel that cuts through the hill that has the slide resting on it.

The playground is right next to an oval so if you just want to let then run free, or just kick the footy around they can!

There's also a kiddys bicicle path with mini zebra crossings and animal motiefs in the road. Good for L plate riders.

There are Bbq's on site that are free of charge and if it's raining a covered gazebo. When the adjoinging willoughby park centre is open there's also access to toilet facilities.

On road car parking

A great day out.

Designed by Ric McConaghy. There is a NEW Rope Climber there now. Worth a climb to the top!

I visited this playground in August 2012 and it is excellent. It has a huge and clean sandpit (a bit of twig debris only, no litter), two hills with slides - one suitable for bigger children, the smaller hill for toddlers. There are four swings inside the playground as well as more just outside.

There is also a fun musical toy - a sort of vertical xylophone made with an old tyre - which was robust and interesting for children of varying ages. There are plenty of seats and flat rocks for adults to sit on.

As mentioned in the earlier review, older children seemed to love the roundabout. And the tunnel under the larger hill was great - an adult could easily get through it if needed.

It's one of the nicest, best featured playgrounds on Sydney's North Shore.
