Set in the picturesque grounds of the old Thorndon Park Reservoir this playground offers lots of shaded picnic areas and fun play equipment. There are bbqs and plenty of seating available. Bike tracks around the old reservoir make it a great place to go with older children too. It also has a kiosk operating on weekends.
This is a fenced park and the gates are locked of an evening. Please contact Campbelltown City Council on 08 8366 9222 to confirm times as these change throughout the year.
This delightful area has to be one of the best family playground areas around Adelaide. Huge, beautiful area, plenty of parking, big trees throughout, a lake (plus ducks and seagulls!) BBQs, large number of shaded play equipment, etc. etc. It's got it all!
Beautifully clean area and maintained to perfection - thanks to the local Council (Campbelltown). My grandson loves it! Thank you!!!!
This playground is not fenced! As a mother of young twins this makes it unusable.
Shaded, unique equipment suitable for all ages, nicely decorated and very appealing to kids of all ages.
