Neilson Park

A really lovely park. We have been at this park both in summer when the trees have full foliage and now in winter where the leaves are now the ground cover which my 2 children loved kicking and throwing into the air and watching them float down on top of them. There is no shade cover over the playground in winter but I'm sure in summer when the trees have full foliage there would be plenty of shade at certain times of the day. The playground has a fireman pole, flying fox, 3 slides, swings and has wood chip as its soft fall. There is a bike/walk path that runs along the river. The playground is not fenced off from the river so care would need to be taken with little ones.

The address for this park is not correct. It is on the Newell Highway (John Street), Coonabarabran. The point on the map is correct. Other than that Kerrie-Ann has a spot on review.
