Bluewater Lagoon

Another great area that is completely free to use. This lagoon has 3 huge pools as well as a water park for children under 103cm in height. The water park has water jets spraying out in all directions as well as a splash bucket that tips water at regular intervals. There is a cafe on site however there are no restrictions on taking in own eskies with food and drinks, although they specify no glass bottles etc so keep that in mind when packing your picnic lunch. They have BBQs available next to shaded picnic tables as well as lush grass areas that are well shaded for picnicing under or resting after all that swimming. There is a waterslide that falls into the main pool for older children and adults. The lagoon is well fenced and is locked after dark. There is also a playground, exercise stations and bike path but they are not in the lagoon area and are not fernced. The playground, exercise stations and bike path runs along the river and over looks the lagoon area.
