Cook Park

Equipment is quite old, but still pretty good. Slide is accessible via a ladder type thing, but with thicker steps than just rungs. My 18month old could manage it. Slide is quite high and steep with walls on either side that my son kept getting his feet stuck on causing him to come down at odd angles doing the splits. But he was having fun, so we continued. He also really liked the balancing bridge (like a school silver bench seat suspended by chains). Worth a look, don't be put off by the dodgy appearances.

Beautiful recently renovated park with flying fox, swings, big swing and small childrens' area with a slide.
