Battye Park

The playground is set within a large grass area and is adjacent to a fenced dog walking/play area. The playgound itself is neat and tidy and looks well maintained. The eating area however, on the day we were there, had quite a bit of rubbish and food scraps. I think this is due to the lack of bins in this park. The playground has lots to offer with slides, swings, spring rockers, climbing nets and fireman poles. There are also a number of painting activities on the bike/walking path eg hopscotch, twister circles etc. The soft fall is bark. There are baby change facilities at the toliets.
