Healesville Sanctuary has a new Nature Play area between the cafe and the kangaroos.
This fantastic playground is made from natural materials. The climbing structure is made from upside-down gumtrees. Kids can play hide-and-seek in the giant birds nest. There is a 'creek' with wooden steppers, crawl tunnel, and slides. The generous sandpit contains 'bones' for amateur dinosaur hunters.
Fantastic addition to the other attractions.
This playground has recently seen the addition of a huge sunshade over most of the sandpit and slides. Coffee right next door at Harvest cafe make this one of our faves. There is also a parents room with TV/tod for toddlers, aircon, comfy chair for feeding, microwave, sink and parent/child toilet.
