Formica Park

This is the kind of park you'd normally pass by, the kind that sometimes has abandoned shopping trolleys in it, the kind where you hope your children can't read the graffiti on the slippery dip BUT our kids love it because there's a big grassy hill. When the grass is the right length, it's perfect for sliding down on a piece of cardboard; it's always good for running down at top speed. There are small steps cut into the turf of the hill - hence the nickname. The playground equipment is a small slippery dip, a small seesaw, a couple of swings and some animals on springs.
