A well loved and regularly used park, there is something for everyone here. A large skate park (and not just for the big kids), a bike track (approx. 1km) and three playground areas.
First area is a large structure with ramps and all the usual climbing areas. The next area is for toddlers, lower to the ground, fewer steps, but still fun for younger children. And the last area has a small bike track around it, a boat on springs and another small climbing structure. This last area also has shade.
The rest of the park has a large open grassed area along with BBQs and picnic tables. Toilets are across the car park and other than on soccer days, there is plenty of parking available.
I visited this playground after seeing the 5* review. No disappointment. The playground is half fenced, the half that is adjacent to the parking. There are very scattered tables and chairs so cannot accommodate a large group on the seating area, but can bring own picnic mat to set up.
There are two BBQ stoves (free) close to the playground. I tested it to make sure that is works! Heh
After playing at the playground, my 4 year old and I went for a bit of an adventure next to the creek and found ducks swimming there. He loved it a said he wants to visit again next week.
Great for toddlers. Lots of equipment. Shady trees. Half fence. Some seating for parents. BBQs. Large grassy area. Skate park. Bike track. Lots of parking.
I think this playground is over-rated. It's not 5 stars. It's ok. It has a skate park for older kids & a playground for toddlers. It's not completely fenced in so it's not good for kids who run away.
