Great for small and big kids - great equipment, sandpit, swings of all sizes, a train (boys love it) and climbing equipment. Plenty of on street parking or there's a car park off O'Riordan St next to the oval which is empty if no games are on. Not fenced but not a big issue, even with toddlers. Next to Mascot oval and accessible off Coward or Forster Sts. Lots of undercover seating and green space.

The park was renamed Lionel Bowen Park in 2013 in honour of late Lionel Bowen, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Member for Kingsford Smith.
