This is a great park for a family day out. The playground is a decent size with a range of equipment set in a huge open grassy space amid mature eucalypts with views down to Oatley Bay. Apart from the climbing equipment, there is an old steam roller which provides hours of entertainment for older toddlers through to pre-teens. When the kids tire of the play equipment, they can take a bush walk to other parts of this huge park, or a walk down to the sea baths for a dip. There are lots of park bench style seats and wood fired BBQs. The trees provide heaps of shade at all times of day, perfect for parents to stretch out on a picnic rug and let the kids run around.

Just wanted to add that the steamroller is now fenced but children can still access it through a child proof gate.
It is a lovely park, great for a relaxed family day out. The playground is one of the best I have seen for my 3 nearly 4 year old who just loves testing her climbing skills.
The playground is fabulous but if you're in for a bit of adventure, follow the stairs down to the swimming cove and have fun with the kids catching tiny crabs on the beach, furtherest off to the right. Check tides before you go. Enjoy
