I spent a lot of time here as a kid. Swimming is possible in the Georges River here as there are nets. It can be a bit muddy at low tide though. There is a small sandy area when the tide is low which is great for scavenging and looking for little mud crabs. There are a couple of different sized swing sets and climbing equipment, lots of grass and tall trees, picnic tables, bbq. The park is pretty hilly. There is a sea-scout hall down at this park. Lovely view of the river and lots of room to run around. A really relaxing spot, great for a picnic.

Grass leading down to the water is steep - no good for toddlers. Tide was out when we were there and it was pretty revolting. Crabs were interesting, but don't think I would go back and swim - Oatley Park is much better for that.

New playground, although chipbark washed away and only natural shade (afternoon).
